Dear Friends,
It gives me an immense pleasure to invite you to the 28th concert season of your Riverside Symphonia!
I am looking forward with great excitement to a variety of our musical presentations. In addition to the always favorite December’s Christmas Concert and summer’s Concert Under the Stars, we will feature Riverside Symphonia Chamber Players during an evening of chamber music at the Trenton’s Planetarium and present full symphony orchestra featuring the famous “Pictures at an Exhibition” by M. Mussorgsky. We will perform a wide gamut of works by composers ranging from J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart to Phillip Glass and E. Morricone.
Our orchestra will collaborate with internationally recognized soloists as well as local young artists. Don’t miss the appearance of the captivating violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn with her exceptional Stradivarius’ Red Violin as well as the young artists participating in our December concert and the 2018 Caprio Young Artist Competition.
We will continue to work with our community engaging the youth, providing special services to the senior citizens and also for the first time, collaborating with the local galleries during the presentation of the “Pictures at the Exhibition”
I believe that we are offering you some of the greatest music ever written, performed by musicians of the highest caliber, and presenting it right in "your own backyard". Please join us at the upcoming concerts and please don’t miss a beat!
