The first Caprio II Young Artists Competition was also held on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville. The Riverside Symphonia was pleased to add a younger division to its acclaimed Caprio Competition. The Caprio II was geared to the emerging musician or high school level student who has performance experience and is actively engaged with a youth orchestra. The age limit for Caprio II was 18. Finalists were selected to perform live for the Competition judges.
The first place winner received $250 and the two finalists received $100 each. There will be no Caprio II as a part of the 2012 Competition but look for its return in the future.
The Caprio Competition is made possible by the following sponsors: Fox Rothschild, Russell Gilsdorf, Janice Gerton / The Arts and Letters Foundation, Jay and Barbara Belding, Hunterdon County Cultural & Heritage Commission
