TURNING DREAMS
INTO REALITIES
The mission of the Riverside Symphonia is to provide a locally based professional orchestra employing the finest musicians available to enrich the lives of the people of the Greater Delaware Valley. The Symphonia cultivates music appreciation through live performances and educational outreach activities. The Symphonia strives to reach all segments of the community regardless of ethnicity, age, or financial means, and to build community through shared musical experience.
Symphonic music is collaboration. A collaboration that involves composers who may be continents or centuries removed from us, a conductor who shapes the music, musicians who work with one another and with the artisans who created their instruments. All of this comes together to create a performance. These performances require the participation of the final collaborators: our donors without whom the concerts would be impossible.
